Same day service
If you need to be seen as an emergency, please phone in as soon as possible after 8:30am. The patient advisor will take brief details, which will be triaged by the on call doctor and you will be offered an appointment with an appropriate clinician.
At all other times, consultation is by appointment. The purpose of the appointment system is to reduce waiting. However, some consultations take longer than others, so please be patient if the doctor or nurse is running late. As the practice has a branch surgery in Millbrook, it is not possible for any one doctor to be available all the time at a particular site.

Home visits
If possible, please try to phone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.
A doctor or emergency practitioner may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice.
Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgeries.
