SAME DAY SERVICE
If you need to be seen as an emergency, please phone in as soon as possible after 08.30. The receptionist will take brief details and offer you an appointment with the Emergency Practitioner or a telephone consultation for that day. If there are no emergency appointments available when you call you can leave your contact details and a brief description of your need for the Emergency Doctor to triage. You will receive a call back with the advice offered. If the Doctor assesses that you need to be seen on the same day, you will be seen on that day even if all normal clinic appointments are taken.
At all other times consultation is by appointment. The purpose of the appointment system is to reduce waiting. However, some consultations take longer than others, so please be patient if the Doctor or Nurse is running late. As the practice has a branch surgery in Millbrook, it is not possible for any one doctor to be available all the time at a particular site.
ON LINE BOOKING
Patients may book appointments and request repeat prescriptions on line, via the Patient Access website. This website is designed specifically to support patients in the use of the online services and will provide help and guidance on all aspects surrounding this such as registering, signing in for the first time, forgetting user ID, nominating a pharmacy, trouble with signing in etc. Please go to https://support.patientaccess.com to find out more.

How to sign up to Patient Access - Information for Patients
For those patients who find difficulty in attending the surgery during normal surgery hours, we offer an additional late night service on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening on alternate weeks from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. All appointments for this surgery must pre-booked.
How can you help?
- On arrival check-in at the screen or let the Receptionist know that you have arrived.
- To make sure treatment is correctly understood, please do not send children on their own.
- If you cannot keep an appointment, tell us so that it can be offered to someone else.
